Veterans Day - Thank you for your Service
On Veterans Day, we honor those who have served in our military. 
Well-meaning people often confuse Veterans Day with two other holidays. Memorial Day honors those who died in service of their country. Armed Forces Day honors those who are presently serving.
If you want to “Thank A Vet”, this is the day!
2018 marks the centennial of Armistice Day – now known as Veterans Day
On November 11th, 1918, an armistice was signed ending hostilities, in effect ending World War I. In 1919, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed November 11th the first commemoration of Armistice Day, honoring veterans of WWI. In 1954, when WWI “the war to end all wars”, had been followed by WWII and Korea, Congress changed Armistice Day to Veterans Day to honor all vets, not just those from WWI.
We believe every day is a day to thank our Vets. At the very least, it is good to be mindful of the sacrifices made by Veterans, and their families, every day of the year. For a great way for businesses to consider supporting Veterans, we invite you to view this post: Supporting our Military with Appreciation: Are you doing your fair share?

United Nations University featuring OpenCourseWare

This is a great opportunity. The United Nations University's OpenCourseWare has great information online. Featuring courses like "Structures and Processes for Implementing and Operating e-Governance" or "Building a Community of Practice for Electronic Governance", One could almost run their own government after completing all the online courses.
OpenCourseWare has been a great thing for the internet and learning in general. It is fantastic that such prominent Universities are using it.

Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) are user experiences that have the reach of the web, and are:
- Reliable - Load instantly and never show the downasaur, even in uncertain network conditions.
- Fast - Respond quickly to user interactions with silky smooth animations and no janky scrolling.
- Engaging - Feel like a natural app on the device, with an immersive user experience.
This new level of quality allows Progressive Web Apps to earn a place on the user's home screen.

Here are the instructions to get the PWA - Progressive Web App - on your android smartphone or tablet.
How to Access the Progressive Web App (PWA) on an Android Phone?
- Open https://www.SampleNameHere.com/ (where SampleNameHere.com = your domain name) in the browser of your Android Phone.
- You'll see a notification button, click on "Add to Home Screen".
- It will create a shortcut icon on your Android phone.
- This icon saves the site as a Progressive Web App.
- Click on the icon to open App. The App also works in Offline Mode.
